mixed feelings.

harmoc concert at esplanade ended today and it was great!(in my opinion) although there were some screw-ups but everyones quick enough to go back to rhe right beat and stuff. *CLAPS*

i was looking forward to today's concert, not because i cant wait to perform, but its that i cant wait for CCA to stop. harmoc is the only CCA stepping up practices till now, whereas other CCAs had a break like weeks ago. but after the performance i actually felt sad. maybe its because i didnt really treat today's performance seriously. there were quite a lot of audience, surprisingly. and the applause they gave made me realise, i m performing, not doing somethg just to get over it quickly. i enjoy playing harmoc, each and every single note, along with the feel and evrythg. i love the applause the audience gave after evry song we play, makes me feel motivated. i love the smiles on their faces when they enjoy the music we are playing. i love the smiles on the teachers' and mr tang's face when we played a wonderful piece and they really see our effort.
till now i realise, i should look forward to today's performance because i enjoy the music i am playing and want the audience to feel it too.

taking a squad is very different from leading a section. u take a sqd, u treat them as ur children. u teach them discipline, hard skills and through these, u make sure they learnt their soft skills.
a section on e other hand is totally different. they are not ur children, they are not obliged to listen to u at all. u have to treat them as ___. well, the blank there is not because its a word not to be disclosed. the fact is, i have yet to find out the answer. i will try hard to be a good SL, to make sectionals fun and enjoyable, to make u guys love music, and make u guys love harmoc AND last but not least, BOND(:

one thing that really made me feel touched: the efforts evryone from section 1 put in this time round. the remarkable improvements ur showed(:

now back to reality. stupid chem test tmr. i am feeling so tired to even look at the notes.

tomorrow will be a freaking long and unbearable day):
chem test, triple math, triple GP and boring econs tutorial.
rushing down to bedok south police centre for PW interview
rush to jiaying's hse for tuition. oh shit i have yet to complete the tuition work):

then i predict i cant get enough sleep like any other thursdays and friday will be hell for me again.

there will be double prac! eeyer. and have to rush home to study and prepare for chem tuition.

AND YAY! HOLIDAYS!:D or rather, one week study break =.=
